S001 Site Safety Awareness

Course Objectives:

At the end of this course, delegates will be able to answer questions on and perform the following:

• Understand the industry, the dangers of working in the industry, and the responsibilities of the employer, employee, and self-employed person.
• Understand emergency procedures such as first aid, fire safety, health risks, and welfare, including working at height and PPE usage.
• Understand hazardous substances, environmental waste protection, control, manual handling, electrical safety, and the safe use of hand tools and equipment.
• Understand the effects of noise, vibration, and site transport on individuals and the environment.
• Understand excavations, inspections, and transport safety in the workplace.

Course Duration: 1 Day

Delegate Numbers: Max of 20 per course

Certification:

On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive an NPORS card valid for 5 years. A refresher course can be undertaken after the 5-year period.
