Online Harness Awareness

Course Objectives

This online harness awareness course is designed to ensure delegates are aware of both the legal and best practice requirements while using relevant fall protection equipment. This course can be extended to include practical demonstrations and delegate assessments of the safe use and inspection of the equipment.

Course Content

At the end of the session, delegates will have covered the following:

• Health & Safety Legislation, including Work at Height regulations 2005 and Personal Protective Equipment regulations 1992
• Types of fall arrest & restraint systems
• Inspection process for fall protection systems
• Correctly don a full body safety harness
• Reporting & recording of inspections
• Maintenance of fall arrest and protection equipment

Certificate

At the end of the course, delegates will receive a certificate of attendance for their online fall protection certification.

Delivered via Zoom video technology, the training follows the same content as the classroom course and is delivered to the same standard. The online course for fall protection includes the same assessment, which takes place via our secure online assessment technology or by oral assessment.

The course lasts ½ day - 1 day, depending on your individual needs and pace. This training can be taken entirely online, ensuring flexibility for those who require online certification for full body safety harness inspection and maintenance.
