Course Description
This course is designed to be used as part of the Level 2 NVQ Mandatory Unit Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace. It provides the knowledge components required for this unit. The final module allows candidates to type in their answers, which can be marked as completed by an assessor. Once approved, these responses can be downloaded and used as part of a work portfolio.
This unit covers four key areas:
- Communicating with Others to Establish Productive Work Practices – Covers different levels and methods of communication in the workplace.
- Productive Working Practices and Environmental Impact – Discusses the efficient allocation and use of resources, method statements, and ways to reduce the environmental impact of work.
- Completing and Maintaining Documentation – Explains the use of job cards, material lists, and timesheets, and the importance of accurate record-keeping in the workplace.
- Maintaining Good Working Relationships – Covers the importance of workplace relationships, including interactions with colleagues, customers, and operatives. Also explores the principles of equality and diversity and site induction processes.
