The Water Jetting Association (WJA) is a professional trade association that represents contractors, manufacturers, hirers, and other organisations involved in the high-pressure water jetting industry. The WJA is dedicated to upholding the highest safety and technical standards across all areas of water jetting, including ultra-high-pressure water jetting, high-pressure water jetting, pressure washing, and drain and sewer cleaning. In addition to advocating for safety, the WJA works to advance its members' interests by offering commercial opportunities, brand association, technical advice, and training in high-pressure water jetting.
The association has also developed two comprehensive Codes of Practice: the ‘Blue Code’ for high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure water jetting, and the ‘Red Code’ for water jetting in drains and sewers. Both Codes are ISBN-designated and are regularly updated with input from industry stakeholders and support from the UK’s Health and Safety Executive. These Codes are recognised internationally as key standards for high-pressure water jetting, serving as an essential resource for members who aim to provide safe, efficient, and reputable services. At C&C Training, we are proud to deliver WJA courses as a leading provider in the industry.
